Below are a few examples of the many projects I’ve completed and a description about the work I did for each. Most of these were fulfilled while working for Accurate Impressions.

Website Development

When it comes to designing websites, I approach the project by becoming familiar with the content that needs to be presented, and then I consider color scheme and maintaining existing branding. I developed the current website for Accurate Impressions using CMS Made Simple. This site acts as a gateway to many other web portals utilized by the business (including social media) that I also maintain.

Newsletter Campaigns

To help spread awareness of Accurate Impressions and drive traffic to the website, I started a newsletter campaign (archives here). I designed the template and used mailchimp.com to organize the campaign of about 3000 emails once every 2 weeks for 6 months. I used Google Analytics to track traffic, recognize click trends and adjusted the campaign accordingly.

Graphic Design (Promotional Products / Ads)

Promotional Products are just one of the services offered at Accurate Impressions, so I constantly utilize their suppliers to take advantage of self promo deals to give out to customers (such as lighters, mugs, pens, etc). I also use my graphic design skills to create ads promoting all services, such as their production of varsity jackets seen above.

Customer Relations / Proofing / Layout (Engraving Setup)

I collaborate with new and existing customers on projects for all services offered. So as well as designing graphics and getting customer approval, I layout designs and ready them for engraving while making sure everything is finished before the event date. Images shown are engraved wine bottle coasters for a charity event and flipping coins for a rugby team.

T-Shirt Design (Screen Printing / Thermal Heat Press)

Screen printing is a major service offered by Accurate Impressions. While working here I’ve developed a great understanding of this process from start to finish and have become an expert at creating designs, getting customer approval, printing films—basically getting everything ready for the screen printer.

Print Layout / Customer Branding

Shown here is more graphic design I fulfilled for a major client of the business—Pleasanton Girls Softball League. Every year we finish a large order for PGSL that utilizes most of our services.

Books (Typography Design / Layout)

Contacted by associate in January 2009 to work on book containing photos of a small statue in various natural settings accompanied with quotes inspired by Buddha. Collaborated via email, developed look and feel of book, created website where pages could be reviewed and downloaded as PDF by partner. UPC purchased, ISBN registered, book finalized and printed in January 2010.
